Next Level

This morning, a cold rainy morning at the airport of the Canadian west coast metropolis Vancouver, I had to part from my dear friend Marian who was boarding a plane that will take him first to Toronto (canadishly pronounced "torronoh") and subsequently to New York.

Right now, I am sitting at the airport's Starbucks and have a week left till I have to return the rental car in San Francisco and 32 minutes till my notebook's battery dies. So in a nutshell: I plan on spending two extra nights in Vancouver, sleeping in the already booked Central Hostel and drive to Seattle on Tuesday morning where I plan to somehow spend New Years Eve. Afterwards the homeward journey back to Berkeley will begin.

The following might seem a little random, but I am posting a picture of me and Wade.

Wade is a really cool guy who works in the first Starbucks café that ever existed which is located in Seattle (Marian and me spend a couple of hours there before we continued our drive to Vancouver). He actually likes the German reggae band Seeed pretty much.

Due to shortage of notebook power time slots, I will post more pictures later. Enjoy the in-between-holiday-days!
