Mexican Food

If you ask a Mexican to explain a certain kind of food to you, the conversation goes as follows: ¿What is &%$@# (placeholder for Spanish word you don't understand)? - ¡Well, it is like &%$@#, although it is a bit more like &%$@#. In Argentina, they call it &%$@#, but there they put &%$@# in it, whereas in Mexico it is made out of &%$@#!

In the end, when choosing on the menu, just go with the words that sound appealing to you - worked for me so far!

Plus, the Mexians have a really mean trick to annoy foreigners. They hand you Tortilla Chips (totopos en Español) together with a green sauce that looks like delicious guacamole. However, after having covered a whole chip with it and having stuck it in your mouth, you realize that is the hottest salsa sauce available on the market! Actually, I should have known that from green and red curries. However, diese Transferleistung habe ich nicht erbracht.

Here, you can see some sparsely commented pictures of a Berkeley veterans' trip to Queretaro, 200 km north of Mexico City:
